Manufactured in Swanley, Kent sometime after WW2, I traded a Godin woodburning stove for this little beauty. I subsequently ended up giving it away. Apart from the fact that it resided in my garage in Wigan for a few years and I acquired it locally, it has no connection whatsoever with the Wigan area and will no doubt fail to satisfy the WW criteria. Pity really, as you'll never know what you missed.

Looks like you scored a bargain Eddie. If this shots taken in a "little Wigan garden" it's good enough for me. PS. Is that your rhubarb growing?

Eddie a rare machine, mint, other than an oil leak on the back hub and the back tyre the wrong way round, not reasons to give it away.

There wasn't much compression in the cylinder AB, making it difficult to start. It went away to be looked at, the bloke died and I never saw it again. Being short of space, I never bothered chasing it up.

previous comment says back tyre wrong way round having worked with tractors some 40 years looks good to me
