I bought this model many years ago at Morecambe market. I bought one also for my sister in law. The destination on her model was "Abbey Lakes". In many years gone by, she spent many enjoyable hours, at Abbey Lakes, dancing the night away. I travelled on the Ince Bar bus on many an occasion.

I have the Ince Bar and Abbey Lakes models on my fireplace. Ince Bar was my home bus-stop during my childhood. Wherever I had been, I was always glad to see it.

I picked the No.3 Ince Bar model up from the Fleetwood Tram Festival in 2014.

The real bus on which this is modelled (fleet no.34) still exists and can be seen at vintage transport rallies and weddings. It is based in Halifax but travels all around the north and it brings back so many memories.

This must have been a last/late bus has the No 3 was the Hindley bus which went has far as the top of Lancaster Road roundabout long before the hollins estate was built .The 3A bus went up to Hindley Station / Makinson Avenue .The 3C and 3E operated to Ince and Belle Green Lane .
