Photograph taken on 23rd October 1946 after my mum and dad's wedding at St. Marks Church Newtown Wigan. My dad was still serving in the Royal Engineers at the time. My dad's father was Robert Schofield who was the licensee of the Bird I'th Hand Public House, 9 Ormskirk Road Newtown Wigan hence he was married at St. Marks.
