My mother Margaret Brewer dressed as Lady Mabel Bradshaigh in a re-enactment of the walk Mabel is said to have made from Haigh Hall to Mab's Cross as a punishment for her bigamy. I notice my mother is not barefoot as Mabel was according to legend !
Is there any record of this re-enactment anywhere that would help to date the photo?

I cannot find anything on the internet,Susan. There is a Mabs Cross Infants' School.

The people on the balcony got a good view. Great photo.
