I'm not certain about Sunny Smiles but postal orders do still exist; they don't have tear-off counterfoils anymore, you get a printed receipt instead.

Funny, was just reminising about these last week. In my day they were sold at 1 old penny each ( you could give more) I seem to remember them as "Sunshine babys" we sold them via our sunday school

Yes Maggie, I remember 'Sunshine Baby's) weren't they pictures in a little booklet with perforated pages and yes we also sold them through the Sunday School...That was a long long time ago, I had forgotten about them....

You are correct janet. It was the 50's when i sold them so a bit before the sunny smiles above
