Yes, it does stand for Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, Ron, but I won't tell you what my Dad called it!

The 'OBA' probably stands for the Overseas Buffaloes Association, which was founded in 1936, to to provide a link between Members overseas and their Home Country.

you're right, Mick; I hadn't studied it properly. My Dad was in The Buffs, and here they were known as the RAOB, Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, although, as I say, my Dad gave them a different title!
