Photograph sent in by a wiganworld reader. Taken by Wigan photographer J.Blackburne. Does anyone know which regiment and where it was taken?

Royal Garrison Artillery, not a clue where they are though.

All wearing spurs. Most likely Territorial Royal Horse Artillery.

Looking at the wall at the back it could be somewhere around Rivington

Maybe it is taken at the same location as previous photographs I put on the site? Could it be Lathom Hall where there was a First World War Camp?

I think Ron Hunt is correct. I think it is Lathom Hall grounds where the army had a camp and trained the horses in WW1.
