My dads pay slip from Triangle Valve in 1970, where was this company situated in Wigan?

It was on the Lamberhead Industrial Estate. The buildings are still there.

I was on about £13 per week in 1970 - as a lap-carrier at May mill.

Susan: I was an apprentice between 1969 to 1974 at the Valve. What did your Dad do? Did he work in East Works? I was based mainly in West Works on the Centre Lathes. Was a great old place. I was made redundant in November, 1981, when West Works sadly closed. Moved on to Garretts in Skem...23 years there. I now work for Erlson, also in Skem...I still see Johnny Baxter knocking about Pem or Wigan. Sorry, but I don't seem to remember your Dad...Regards, John.
