Yes this, along with many others on Wigan World, is take from and old book about the town and it's people and some are taken from postcards but are still worth sharing with other like minded people as they tell a story of how life used to be and form a social history of the town which is important especially for next generations.

Well, i reckon they are watching a stripper with nowt but clogs on. Lighten up, wether it's a photo or it's from a book, it's still good to look at. well done! JohnAlan.
