Looks like late 1940s, early 50s.
the lady on the right looks like shelia mills she does live in ince
Maybe they have come out of a old sideboard drawer and a house clearance that Robinsons was getting ready to send overseas.
So they could have come from anywhere in the country.
Yea, I was thinking that too Mick, but thought I'd try on here before I got shut of the pic, just incase its fallen out of someones wallet or something.....

The man I think is a very young Arthur Higson,who was the technical officer in charge at Leigh telephone exchange on Chapel St in the 1970's.
He lived on Schofield lane at atherton near the Mason's Arms.
please dont throw these pics out jam, i will have them if you dont want them ,i remember when my grandma died and my mam and her brothrs and sisters were clearing her flat, i saw a load of photos outside the door with other rubish i was about 15 then so never even thought ,but oh do i wish i had saved them i cant beleive they threw them out!!!!! its only in years to come that you would love those photos ,my family are crying out for old photos arggggh cant understand why they did it!!!!
