The only thing I can say about this is that my Uncle, George Miller is at the back of the group. The coach company is Hindley Coaches.

But what the occasions is, who the other people are and where it is is a mystery.

Can anyone help?

That is Dom Burke in the middle
I met nearly all of these blokes when I used to visit
dad during working hours. (1950) but can only remember a
few of their names.

I may be mistaken, but I think the guy kneeling in the centre (hair parted in the middle) is Tom Boardman, the owner of Hindley Coaches, and also of a corn store on Wigan Road near the Bird i'th Hand and a filling station on Liverpool Road near the old LUT 'bus depot

Arthur The bloke you mention is Danny Prescott
the only Boardman in the photo is Frank the coach driver
(Peak cap near the coach) Tom's son.

Man in dark suit Second from right front row crouching is my dad, Syd Dootson quite young there.
