Could it be Low Hall Cottages or Burrow's Farm, they are in the fields behind the Hockery Brook Pub?
I don't think its any of those Dennis. I looked on Google map and they just don't seem to fit the bill. Mind you there's only a satellite view so its I can't be certain.
It looks alot like Detrafford House you can see it over to the right before you turn into Morrisons at Ince Mrs Bolton (midwife)a lovely lady used to live there or i could be wrong.
your right marlene. it is de trafford house. spent a lot of time here as a kid. I usedto play with their daughter pauline bolton. I once saw betty bolton climbing over the garden gate to go and see a mum in labour. she couldnt open it as there was about three feet of snow.
I agree it is De Trafford house, its easy to see from the new cycleway.
Betty Bolton was a caring and very good midwife i had her as my midwife three times she was like a very good friend you could rely on.
Yes it is De Trafford House. Betty and Derek (mum and dad) plus Shirley, Pauline, Kathleen and Carol lived there until 1988. Lots of happy memories.
