47 (Named?) unit coupled to electric passenger train on re-route via Ince towards Manchester.

Possibly 47971 'Robin Hood' It was used by the Railway Technical Centre at Derby, and hauled passenger trains at weekends. The experimental (at the time) multiple working socket can be seen to the left of the headlight. 47971 was the only loco in this livery to have this feature, as far as I know.
