Class 40 Diesel ?

Indeed Mr. Charnock an English Electric Type 4 (later British Rail TOPS Class 40) built at Vulcan Locomotive Works in Newton-le-Willows, only a few miles away. In original (Brunswick Green) Livery with no yellow warning panels - GREAT !
A superb photo - you can almost smell the loco ... where's Cullie ?
