I remember trips to New Brighton on the train when I was a nipper. Not sure as to where we caught the train. Would it have been Wigan Central?

This train terminated at wigan,you would have had to catch the train at wigan wallgate to liverpool central then from there on the wirral line to new brighton or liverpool central walk to the docks and catch the ferry to new brighton.
