Hi Judith, what a blast seeing this photo. Names I can put to unknowns are,front row after Audrey Smith it is Delilah Smith, then Barbara Woocock and then Karen Smith.Middle row 3rd left it is Janice Williams. Easier to name all the back row l-r Denise Haselden,Susan Lindsay, Carol Williams,Janice Heyes,Margaret Cardwell,Christine Wilde,Elaine Seal,then me,Janet Fellows, next one isn't Irene Pilling but Hilary Beddows,then June Sutton. Diane & Denise Haseldine are the longest serving members still with the band, Barbara Davies & Denise Chappell rejoined 10 years ago.Back in October the band celebrated it's 50th Anniversary since it was started by Nurse Stokes.

Thanks sue, in 70s i was in haydock and ashton band with my brother, mr newbiggin was band master then, we practiced at the wagon and horses in haydock, and travelled every where,good old days.

Just had another look at this photo Judith and by my reckoning I think it was taken about 1965/66

Just a little further info on the date of this photo, I do
have my own copy and I have dated it up as June 1967 which I
do with most of my photo's so I believe this to be correct.
