LOVELY PHOTO GLENYS, ISNT IT A SHAME OUR PARENTS & GRANDPARENTS DIDNT WRITE ON BACK OF PHOTOS, NEVER MIND TELL US OWT ABOUT THE PAST.SAYING THAT WE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT ASKING,ITS ONLY NOW WE ARE INTERESTED,WISH WE HAD MORE INTEREST IN OUR TEENS.

Looks like a posed 'fancy dress' studio photo, as the women's hairstyles and the shoes of the seated woman look to be 1940's.
Possibly something to do with amateur dramatics?
