I remember watching The Blue Diamonds at Blackpool Tower in the lounge that overlooked the sea[ forgoten the name of the lounge can anyone help.]I was in Blackpool on honeymoon it was June 1967.

Hi Peter,yes it is Ross Raynor great singer sadly passed away, must be at leased 20yrs ago.

Hi J Gee,the room at Blackpool tower was the Ocean room,
the Diamonds must have been a good band to be booked there.
Ilived in Blackpool in the 60,s. we would go to the Ocean room,to watch the better bands,with envy.

Wow jut browsing this site and came across this photo.
In the sixties I was at university in Birmingham ,me and my mates used to go to Birmingham Ice rink,We saw this group from Wigan playing their we thought they were great.

Ican remember this group playing at Altringham Ice rink.
Can anyone help me I am sure I also saw them at the Cavern club Liverpool in the sixties,on the same bill as the Swinging blue jeans?.

Ican remember watching this group in Wigan park on Sunday afternoons in the band stand, me and my mate had a crush on Ross and Eric,we were young then !

I have found in an old suitcase a poster from the Soutern sporting club in Prestwitch Manchester on it is the Blue Diamonds topping the bill for a week in July 1967,also a program for Swinton civic hall on that the Blue Diamonds, are supporting the Swinging Blue Jeans in May 1968.

Hi Mary, Ican remember going to the Swinton civic Hall in 1968.to watch the Swiging Blue Jeans with my mates,Some of my mates fell for the Blue Diamonds,so we followed them all over Manchester and Salford. [ young and foolish ].

Hi Joan long time no see hope you are doing ok, I also remember going to Swinton civic with you, do you remember we went along to the Twisted wheel and the Oassis, everytime The Blue Diamonds were there.

Hi I am Ross Raynors daughter and just came across stuff in net about the blue diamonds! I am so proud of my dad and would love to hear from anyone who saw the diamonds or has any footage etc pls my dad died of leukemia 25 yrs ago sadly but his memory lives on fondly forever in our hearts!

Did the Blue Diamonds originally have a member caled Frank Moseley who did national service in Germany around 59 to 61
