Back Row 2nd from left is Ged Dickinson and 4th Andrew Bowden (StCuthberts). Front row 1st on left is Joe or Paul Riley ?(St Cuthberts), 2nd from left Stephen Downing(St Edwards). The big lad centre front row was also from St Cuthberts can,t recall his name. The Coach was a teacher from Sacred Heart i think.

I think the lad on the end back row (left) is Aiden Murphy (St Pats) and the teachers name was Mr Mallin

I played in the same Wigan colts side as Ged Dickinson, Chris Ratchford and Stephen Downing, all talented individuals. Ged and Chris signed professional terms for Wigan along with Martin Connaughton,Mick Nanyn and Nicky Kiss. Stephen Downing was as tough as teak never took a backward step on the pitch he wasn't very tall but he was stocky.
