The lad in the front row middle is name TOM he live in pemberton he was a plaster.Also the lad to the right is name GASKELL.

I believe my granddad peter burrows got player of the year in his firt season for greenough street

Played in the Laithwaite shield final in Crawford for Bispham v Greenough St. We were winning 4 v 1 with ten minutes to go.....and lost 4 v 6! They won the double that year.

Played for Shelley against this team, not sure if it was this season, but they had gone unbeaten for ages. We won 1 - 0 with Dave Sands, who was about 5ft 4" getting the winner. The headline in the Evening Post read "Sands of time run out for Street". I kid you not, the paper used to publish all the Amateur League results and the occasional refs report.
