Thankyou John for this photo, Bob as you know was my uncle, the one obviously on the left. I only met Tommy about twice but I know when they were younger they were very close. They used to play a lot of tennis together and I believe they were both brought up by their Auntie. Uncle Bob was in India during the war and if I can find some of the photos I will send them up to Wiganworld.

Margaret, Many thanks, similarly I never met Bob but Tom used to tell me all about him. I knew the tragic circumstances of his daughter Christine, and that she left two little girls who now are obviously grown up. Is Greta still alive

Greta sadly died 2003 and is buried with Bob in Shevington-Christine is buried in Ince cemetery. Bob died about 20 years ago, just before he was due to retire. Funnily enough both Bob an Tommy died of the same heart problem. I am sending a picture of Bob with his van- he was a plumber with Tyldesleys.
