What a wistful look your brother has Veronica, lovely photo.
Is this the same Terry Catterall who worked for Wigan Council at the Crematorium ?
When he first left school he worked at the Parks and Cemetry Dept. don't know about the Crematorium though more the gardening side. Yes he did look a bit wistful Ellen.
Veronica, Is Terry's age about 69 ?
That's right Cordy he retired from (what was originally)the GPO as a mechanic after about 40 yrs. He still likes gardening though.
Veronica, I only ever met your brother once, it was at Moss Bridge - by the canal near Scotsmans Flash. We were both out on our bikes and having a breather there. It was Terry's 65th birthday. Ask him does he remember; we both remembered a few people from Wigan Parks including Eric Disley and Tony Crooke
I will ask him. He has a better memory than me and it would be him as he joined a cycling club when he retired.
What a lovely pic of your mam and terry veronica.wasn't she good looking x
I think at that time Tree she had had all her teeth out! They did that at the time to save pain afterwards. All the same the face altered because of it.
Cordy: have seen our Terry today and told him you were asking about him. He knew you straight away - he was telling me you had stopped for a breather and talking about old coleagues. I asked him about the 'Crematorium and he said they only did the garden around it.
Colleagues !
