Hello tommy, my grandfather Jack (auntie Bella's husband) lived at Sutton Manor, at the same time as Ike and Billy,He
worked at the pit there, then moved back to Whelley.Billy would have been my grandfather's brother in law.

hi tommy,i think I have a photo of billy riley that was in some old photos of my uncle Gerald mawdsley's I think it was sent to him from his mother , my grandma,it says something on the back like sorry I had to cut it down it wouldn't fit , then some other writing I cant make out very well, it must have been when the war was on, I will put it on here tommy.

Hello Tommy, I remember your mum well, I remember going to her house in Whelley, then later on we lived near to her in Scholes. I gave Eunice some photo's when she was researching the family tree.

Still doing family tree the deeper I go the harder it gets.

Hiya Stephen, met Charlie hogs grandson last week, he is trying to find information about him. He was Charlie's daughters son but she died in 1945 and his dad married again so he wasn't,t told much about the hoggs, he ,s hoping someone may have a photo of his mother

Hi all, I'm Steven Beech great Grandson of Ike Beech. Just finding out all this history. I always had a feeling he came from near staffordshire, as there are a lot of beech's down that area. What an amazing career the all had explains some of the drive i have in my own life lol.

Hi Steven my grandfather was billy from wigan his brother ike were both born in bidulph biily lived 33 bolton st scholes he had 3 daughters ,hilda ,margret and minnie . uncle ike and his wife auntie jane used to visit when saints played wigan minnie also had a son his name was Stephen
