The wedding photo of my grandparents, cousins Walter and Elizabeth Ann (Annie) Hampson. The wedding took place on 11 May 1921 at United Methodist Church, King St, Wigan. Walter, a cashier, son of painter William Hampson, by then deceased, lived at 115 Hodges St. Annie, a machinist at a hosiery works and daughter of joiner Thomas Hampson, William's brother, lived at 188 Gidlow Lane, Wigan. They lived at Hodges Street, later St Clements Road and eventually Milton Grove, Wigan.
Elizabeth Ann's father, Thomas,(1871-1949) was my grandfather's(John Gerrard Hampson)brother. Would love to see more photos
