Hello harry, i am wondering if these people are my ansesters, my grandad was Herbert Pennington, he had 1 brother, willaim aka bill, he lived on walthew lane, on the corner near the street leading to ribble rd. close to the bridge, and at some point on tram road. i have left my e-mail address if you dont mind contacting me to let me know i would be very gratefull, thank you.

hi harry,my married name is pennington , my hubby alan was born in ince ,his father was born in barnsley yorkshire,but came to golbourne age 5 his name was geoffrey pennington his fathers name was ralph,there were a few penningtons in golbourne and abram maybe we are relaited you never know ha .

My dad was Jack Greenwood, his mum was Maria (Beck) and his dad was Isaac Greenwood. My dad used to say he was related to Frank Scanlon but never knew how. I know that the Penningtons have a link with the family, but again not sure how but always thought it was through the Beck's.... can you shed any light on this please?

Your aunts lily was my nan,I am franks daughter,the youngest,I am now 51 and have a son who is 29'and a grandson who is 5 .i remember the photo when we cleared out dads house in walthew lane when he died 13 years ago.

Pauline, what were the names of Lily's parents? (Your Great Grandparents)?

I know the comments on here haven't been live o for a while. Does anyone know if second from right on back row is Elizabeth Pennington who was born about 1891 and married Thomas Hilton in about 1913 at Platt Bridge. If so she is my Great Grandma.
