My father, Jack as a Navy recruit (conscript) about 1945/46. This was originally a black and white photo, hand painted after the event by the photographer. Its now long since faded except for a hint of blue in the stripes on the collar. The photographers hand writen note on the photo says "Dark hair, hazel eyes, Naval"
