grandmas maiden name was moxham before she married grandad george. think they got married at st pats then her reception was upstairs in the silverwell!

What a lovely bride! Her hair, dress and bouquet are so typical of the era.

You're right Irene, the style is so like my sister's wedding dress. The modest neckline, veil etc & the demur look. In Bristol recently we saw a bride come out of a registry office, she was voluptous to say the least & had a big dagger tattooed on her upper arm with the words ' strong & invincible ' hope the groom was aware of that !!

My sister-in-laws was almost identical in 1961 Helen. I was a little bridesmaid!
