Looking for information on Jimmy Wright.
My father Willi Schrot was a German P.O.W. in Ashton, Camp 50. He was working on a farm nearby belonging to Jimmy Wright or his family. My father often told me about his time in England and how well he had been treated. He stayed in contact with Jimmy after the war. It was through Jimmy in 1964 I got the address of a Wigan girl Kathleen Speakman, we became very good friends and I spent many happy holidays in the Speakman's family home at 58, Douglas House.Well, it was the swinging 60's!!!
I would like to know if the farm still exists, if there is family of Jimmy's, maybe someone even knew my father or has old photos.... I know it is all long ago, but you never know....
Can anyone help, every little bit of information would be much appreciated.Thank You!

Did anyone know Jimmy/James Wright, the photo is from 1940. He was a farmer near Wigan, maybe Skelmersdale, Ashton-in-Makerfield, does anyone know the Wright family????
