It's the lodge of Wigan Rectory, on New Market St/Frog Lane, Helen.

My Grandparent lived in The Lodge, Hallgate, Wigan. Is this a picture of the Lodge that I see on the Census?

The houses at the bottom of Hallgate must surely be the closest to the town centre. Also the Parish church verger and his wife lived in the house where the archway to the rectory is, and were subjected to a violent burglary in 1984, after which they moved. The Mk3 Ford Cortina VTC618L has twin headlamps being a GT or top of range GXL model.
