That lorry has an early Wigan "EK" plate, & was made by Walker Bros at the Pagefield works Springfield
Love this picture I keep living in hopes that one will turn up of the old Alison Arms My mum and dad ran it for some years.

I just remember the Alison Arms. No pictures I'm afraid!!!!!!!!I was a WINNARD & Nanny & Grandad lived up the road.
