Close up, if you needed one, of cooling towers taken approx 1952 but perhaps a bit earlier, maybe soon after completion as everything around looks clean and tidy.
In my time the lectric water was a jealously protected and very good tench water but you could only fish it if you worked for the lectric board and they meant it.
I think today it's pretty much a free for all but I'm not sure. I do know that it's still black with tench.
