I used to go past the library on weekdays when I went to school in Ormskirk. An Iconic building. Later in life I worked the evening shift in a Carnegie Library in Kent.

This photo brought back very fond memories forme ,for it was the Library that when i was born just around the corner near to were the Half-Way-House Pub used to be way back in 1947ish The story my mother would tell me that i would not go to sleep as a baby until she had walked me round Ellesmer Road to the Carnegie and back home to get me to sleep ,my recollection was that there used to a red telephone Box at one side , i always remembered that .Thanks for the photo.
