'Billy' Bryan's chemists.
Later moved to the opposite side of Parliament Street, and in the 1960s moved up to Hall Green.
Was still trading until shortly before his death in 1999.
He must have been a good age Tony, and fit too to be able to carry on working, wonder if he every day had a spoonful of the Malt Extract and Cod Liver Oil which is advertised in the window, it is well known for its nutritional and prebiotic values and the cod liver oil if you can stomach it, provides more nutrients and A & D vitamins, though it is produced without the oil added.
He employed a pharmacist who did all the dispensing for many years Cyril, and also shop staff, but still attended the store regularly.
He was over 90 when he died, just before the Millenium.
