I wonder if this is a Massey Bros body as they, in the 1920's, undertook work for small companies on van and charabancs. The reg. No.KD3725 was issued between 1928-29. I can't make out the vehicle make.
Fairhurst House and Farm was just off Fairhurst Lane in Standish.
It's mentioned in the Lan OPC - Burials at St Wilfrid in the Parish of Standish
Coultons bakery, Long Lane, Liverpool. KD is a liverpool registration plate. Fairhurst House farm is on the 1927 map as John H says, Standish. There is no Withington named but not far from Worthington.
We used to get bread from Coultons in Kirkby in the 1950s - I don't know whether there is a connection with the present-day company on Long Lane, but Coulton's started out in Ormskirk (later also in Southport) - the building built as their bakery on Windmill Avenue, off Wigan Road (A577), Ormskirk, is still there, carrying their name in terracotta on its gable end (you can see it from the bus, just before you get to the town centre).
