i dont think so as it may have been took up for the M6.
Anyone recall school cross country? We had to jump this brook. The constant slap of kid's feet landing on the bank produced a phenomenon, ( which I now know to be called 'liquefaction') causing the bank to suddenly behave as a liquid rather than a solid. The next feet to land completely collapsing the bank, and the unfortunate runner being immersed a couple of feet into the sticky goo!
When we attempted to land before the bank liquefied, we were prone to being too tightly bunched when taking the jump, resulting in runners not recovering and moving before other jumpers landed and collided with them. Then the whole body of runners would fall into a mud bath! Squelching back along Low Bank Road, caked with drying mud, feet blistering due to footwear being sodden.....

I am told this became very badly polluted with toxic levels of aluminium compounds. Anyone know owt about said pollution?
Lovely pic. Before Skitters Wood became a dumping ground and full of litter. Walk along Lowbank Rd and and the old Skitters Grove and the hedges are strewn with rubbish everywhere - matresses, tyres, etc. I thought the council clean all that up?.
There was at one time 2 engineering sites at Downall Green and both of then leached contaminated water into the brook
