Does anyone have any info on this pub? It's School Lane, Upholland. Can't find anything online.

There are photos of the demolition of this Tea Garden, just after the first world war, on Places, Upholland, page 2.

It wasn't a pub Micky, it was a tea room and gardens. The gardens were all around where the car park at the bottom of UpHolland churchyard is now. I seem to remember being told they closed in the 1920s.
Up until the late 1970s/early 1980s, raspberry bushes which had once formed part of the gardens could still be found at the bottom of the churchyard.

On page 2 of the Upholland section in 'places' is a photo showing demolition of part of 'Upholland Gardens tea garden'.

I believe it was run by the church at one time.

Hi Mick and belated thanks for the info.
I thought this was a beer house, as on the 1891 census it says my family resided at '3 School Lane Holland Garden beer house' and I'd found the photo in a bunch of old family pics.
