Pamela in the shop
Johnny/Giovanni. Many of your remarks are so crude I don't know how they get published, you have much to answer for.
I cannot think for the life of me that the comment could be offensive....in fact it is quite comical and something Ronnie Barker might say! A little bit of humour nothing else!
Thanks Vb for your support! Remind me to send KenR a dose of happy pills!
Come on Ken R what's happened to that great Wigan humour, I'am sure Pamela would have a giggle at this.
Come on Ken.I'm female and don't find it a bit offensive..I love Johnny's sense of humour.
KenR, i'm behind Johnny in this, (not TOO close though),lol. Nothing wrong with his comment as far as i can see, after all, what did Mayall's sell ? PAINT of course, including red.
Well said Jonno/JohnG/Maureen.....glad to know Mr Mardy Bum's in the minority! :-)
Mind you -Pamela looks as if an early night with a mug of cocoa would be better -the way she is leaning on the paint cans!
KEN R, it would appear that you played a wrong domino.
I wonder if Pamela is still around the Wigan area? Would love her to reply.
I applaud your sense of civic duty Johnny. Parts of Wigan could do with a coat of paint.
Not red tho GW otherwise Wigan will look like that town in High Plains Drifter film with Clint Eastwood!
Mind you, Pamela would make a great assistant holding the paint pots!
You could matt vinyl emulsion the place Johnny, but it doesn't sound as romantic.
I'd like to know what date this pic was taken, I might have been available then! ;-)
Johnny I can just imagine you with Nurse Gladys Emanuell!!!!Climbing up that ladder ...just passing her house!
In what capacity Johnny? a lover or a painter & decorator. Mind you I would like to find out the year, £7.49 a tin sounds dear, it's only £9.99 now.
Fred can we presume that you know or knew Pamela, if so where is she now to answer a few questions ?
Bus station was built in 1987, so pic would have been prior to that, so early 80s possibly, which would make Pamela around 50ish now
John G, tell me where you're getting your paint from, i want some at THAT price.
Health and safety would have a field day with Pams footwear these days, open toe sandals amidst heavy cans of paint.
The reason I wrote that comment about Giovanni is, Some three years ago he disrespected me and my sister-in-law by putting out a comment that was suggesting that I was 'sleeping with my sister-in-law' (his words) You will notice that he is constantly using suggestive comments. Some people like that including the ladies but I don't. So there it is I don't think that I am a prude, I just prefer straight talk.
Ken R: Wow Ken were do we start on this one, to hold a grudge like this can verge towards a vendetta type views and comments and I'am sure pure Fred did not expect these type of comments when he did his post.
I have noticed recently on W.W as I'am sure other people have comments like stupid, idiot, pathetic, we should not be putting things like this on W W all of us have opinions but should respect the other persons point of view, all so the subject matter takes some abuse, if some like trains and some like wagons and some like people and events it's all part of history, let's get back to being light hearted and funny.
Come on everyone, we're getting distracted from the main issue here......sandals? With socks????
Well said Stan, but don't forget the matching underpants.
To be so touchy about his sister in law. There must be some truth in it Kenny boy. Lol.
