lovely picture the little girl was I think ready to make her first communion. But for me, to see once again White Star Carriers depot just past the last house on the right is brilliant, I worked here for several years back in the 1960/70s as a younger person, brings back fond memories of my youth !!!.

I used to live in chapel street from 1945 to 1966 with mother lily father henery twin brother brian and sister joan and Doreen we was at ash lane end next to the labour club. and infant school which was demolished last year.next to the church was Bithells scrap yard the road at our end was unadopted ,I remember white star we played in there yard, there was another set of twins the athertons john and norman lived in cale lane lived opposite bridges shop,them were the good old days
