i ust to go old hall in 70s watching billy barker & the envoys great pub then there were a lot of good acts on good nights on fri sat night
Behind the wall, bottom left corner, was where the gent's public urinals were situated, before you went over the railway bridge, nearly opposite St Mary's Church.
Far building, bottom left corner, would have been the accommodation block for the over night stay of railway employees.

I'm practically certain A.B. that in the forties, and fifties, it was a "Walker's Warrington Ales" Pub.
Supped a few pints in there, watching Bill Barker with me old mate Kev Weaver.
Albert it was a Oldfieds Brewery Pub.Walkers bought them out in the thirties.
In 1963 it was a Walkers House
They did serve a good pint in the 1960's.
Is that somebody's bike, at the far left hand side of the pub?
