I never thought I would see Gordon Isherwood's shoe-shop again! There is a shoe-shop featured in the film "A Taste of Honey" where Jo, the main character gets a job, and it always puts me in mind of Gordon Isherwood's.

Where in Wallgate was Melbourne St? It doesn't appear on Google maps.

It's about where the tills are in Go Outdoors. Was called Adelaide St before Melbourne St.

Michael..it was round about where Staples is now..and next to Victoria Street.

Michael, if you look at Go outdoors from Wallagte, there is a space at the back where they erect the tents. Melbourne/Adeilade Street ran along there.
