This photo was taken in Feb 1991 when the redevelopment of the old school began, the bottom hut is already partially demolished, the cobbles would be gone before long.

At least the school was kept for a new purpose, not like the top infants school.Remember clearing the snow off them cobbles about 1965, and chasing the blue tits off from picking the tops off our milk. Good good times.

Ran down does steps a few times trouble was once you started running you could not stop,
I spent two school years in that top hut. Miss Woods 1961-62 and Mr Green 1963-64
