This view looking towards Sandbrook Road shows the old Queen's Arms which became the Sandbrook soon after this picture was taken. The coal yard in the foreground is long since gone.

My dad was a manage at the coal yard in the 1990s his name was Arnold Mears, think they are going to build houses there now

I have not been up there for a while but something seemed to be going on there about a year ago.
