I remember a girl named Maureen Parkinson who lived in one of those houses in 1950s, wonder where she is now.

Indalo, vaguely remember the girl you mean, she used to help out at Higher Lane Sunday school in the mid 60s, I think she was Jane Parkinson's daughter or related to her in some way. Not seen or heard of her for many years.

The person you refer to is my mum!

Hi ya Jane sorry its taken so long to reply to your comment saying Maureen Parkinson is your mum, at least now i can perhaps make contact with her again.Your mum was the most happy and pleasant person anyone could ever meet,so once gave me a warning about a good friend of hers, i chose not to heed her advice,i was sorry i did not listen to your mum.Give my regards to your mum perhaps we can get in touch.
