The Cow field was a favourite playing field for generations of UpHolland kids. Despite being in a conservation area and green belt it was lost to development.

Many of my early year spent on or around the rolly polly fields. Could not believe they built on it. No more Sky larks as they used to build there nests there every year while I was growing up. Duncan your a star.

Used to love playing on the cow field,roly polying down the hill, these old photos are taking me back to my childhood love them.
my grandfather was born in number 5 higher lane , his name was joseph simpkin
