Fabulous photos Dave. I used to love the old Market Hall and it's interesting to see it again. I didn't know that Avery's existed though. You picked an interesting subject to do your University thesis on.

There was a zeppelin raid on Scholes Malc, not quite the Blitz, but you'll probably remember it, a bit before my time I'm afraid.
