Wigan team members "admiring" the Lancashire Cup, at Central Park, that they had won on October 22nd by beating their "bogey" team and red hot favourites Salford at Station Road, Swinton.
The week after the win, the club welcomed the ubiquitous Harry Sunderland as Secretary/Manager. The Australian is seen in this photo as are two of the Club's Directors, Tom Brown, Landlord of the Park Hotel and Harry Platt, Wigan solicitor both of whom had travelled down to Llanelli earlier that year to sign, Jack Bowen, my father.
