I think the house was called "City House" and was in City Road Pemberton.

Cuold this be the house that is still standing near the junction of City Rd / Kitt Green Rd / Prescott Lane?
It is now white and was, at one time I believe, a dairy?

Know the one you mean Ian, but not sure if it's one and the same with the pic.
The one you mean is where Sid Moorfield the milk man lived. Over 50 years ago it was Antrobus's.

I remember this house, it was demolished when the houses in Beverley Rd were built. it was where the opening from City Rd to Beverley Rd is now, I'm sure the dairy that Ian mentioned can be seen in the background.
