Photograph of the old Cherry Gardens Hotel. I don't know when it was demolished, to make way for the Cherry Gardens as it is today.

My brother in laws grandparents owned a brewery at Ince and had the Cherry Gardens and the The Stag at Orrell built.

Ron don`t think it was demolished if you look at the frontage as it is now you will see the entrance and windows are still the same in fact I think there is a copy of this photo inside the pub.

Went past the Cherry Gardens today. No way is the building today, the same as this. It's entirely different. This is made from bricks. Today's building appears to be made of blocks.

I think that's stucco rendering Ron, which can be applied over brickwork or stonework to give it an ornate appearance. Used to be very popular.

Just been passed again. Definitely not the same building. The only thing this building has in common with the present building is that the doors and windows are in the same places. It also appears to be set back from the road more than today's pub.

Ron, the Cherry Gardens is still the same building, in the same place, but the road was widened and the roundabout created, so the road has moved nearer the pub!

It is the same pub, roads change all the time, Just look at The Woodhouses on Woodhouse Lane, Main Road went pass at the side of the canal to Shevington
