Mam and Dad Wedding 24th April 1943
  I have posted this photo before of my parents Wedding (Alice and John Gibson) as Maureen and Veronica were talking of dresses which were made from parachute silk my mam's dress was made from parachute silk which I think you will agree was quite lovely.

That is a beautiful photograph-and the dress cut on the cross is gorgeous!
Also how delicate is the veil. It's so nice to see the parachute silk!
