A real Lassie from Lancashire!

Now that's what you call a BRAT.

I thought a brat was an apron, Ron, which ended at the waist, rather than a full-length pinny? I am happy to stand corrected, though. x.

Irene at first glance I thought that it was an Apron? Should get my money back from Specsavers..

Your right she was a proper Lancashire lass, she worked in a cotton factory in Rochdale, she was picked up by coach every day, soon after this photo was taken she was in a very bad accident in the factory when the lift she was in crashed down Grandma was in hospital a long time she had very bad fractures to both her legs, there were quite a few people in the lift at the time. It was in the daily papers Daily Herald I think but I have not been able to find info about it. Grandma was brilliant.

Anne today she would have the 'HAVE YOU HAD AN ACCIDENT' companies falling over themselves to sign her up

Oh, how awful, Anne! But you can see she was a special lady from her lovely smiling face!
